Hello - My name is Karen B Ferrante and I have polycystic kidney disease. It is very hard for me to go public and ask someone for their kindness to donate a living kidney for me, but I have reached the point where I need to do this to avoid a life restricted to dialysis (how awful!)I am a very active individual, who scuba dives, trains dogs and takes care of my grandchildren. The only way I can continue to live an active life is to get a living kidney transplant (very soon...)
